A chiropractor tried them

Reviewed by a retired chiropractor
with 30 years of practice

Lew spent nearly 30 years fitting patients with orthotics, including ones he made in his own office. He bought a pair of ours and filmed this two weeks in.

"I've used orthotics of many different types, including types that I've made through my own office. Frankly, none of them compare to the effects I'm getting from Solbase."

They had tried everything else

No actors and no script. Four customers on their own phones, a week or two after the insoles arrived.

"An hour after I started working, my feet, I feel like I was walking on glass. … Now with these new insoles from Solbase, I'm on my feet all night. The feet don't bother me. I can come home and I can even go to the gym now."

What customers with neuropathy say

"I've had diabetic neuropathy for six years and my feet burned every single evening. Two weeks in these and I sat down after dinner without dreading it. I can't remember the last time that happened."

Frank D. · ✓ Verified 09/18/2026

"Numb toes, 290 lbs and every insole I bought was flat in a month. These are firm without being hard and they're still holding up. I feel steadier walking the dog, which matters a lot when you can't feel the ground."

"Bought a pair for my husband's neuropathy and ended up ordering my own. We both wear them all day now. Best money we've spent on our feet in years!"

Why this one is different

We know you've tried everything for your feet

Most people with neuropathy who find us have tried it all: pills that dull the burning, numbing creams, "diabetic" socks, a foot massager, gel insoles, maybe $400 orthotics. The creams and gadgets only work while you use them. Every insole on the market is built around one assumed body: 130–170 lbs. Put more weight on it every day and the foam gives up early.

With neuropathy, that matters more. A foot that can't fully feel the floor gets no warning when the foam under it has given out. It keeps landing on the same three points, the heel, the ball of the foot and the big toe, thousands of times a day, and the evenings get worse. Spreading the pressure so no single point carries it is what doctors aim for with a diabetic foot.

So we built ours the other way around, starting from the weight it has to carry.

The Foundation
  • Works with every step, all day
  • Engineered for 200–350 lbs
  • Spreads your weight across the whole sole
  • Rigid TPU shell that keeps its shape
  • Trim to fit, works in most shoes
  • 120-day money-back guarantee
Other neuropathy products
  • Creams and massagers: only while you use them
  • Gel and drugstore insoles: Rated for 130–170 lbs
  • Flat in 3 to 6 weeks at 250 lbs
  • "Diabetic" socks: soften the skin, don't hold the foot
  • Diabetic shoes: $150+ for a new pair
  • Custom orthotics: $400+ and weeks of waiting
How it works

Remove your old insole. Drop this one in.

That's it. Trim to fit if needed. Works in work boots, sneakers, and most casual shoes. Takes 30 seconds.

Lay your old insole on top of the new one, trace the toe, and cut along the line with ordinary scissors. Your shoes stay the same. What changes is what's under you.

What to expect

Your first weeks

1
The first day
It feels firmer than you're used to
That's the shell holding your arch up instead of letting it sink. Your heel sits deep in the cup. Most people wear them from the first morning. Keep checking your feet daily, the way your doctor told you to.
2
The first week
The end of the day feels different
The hours on your feet are the same. What you notice is the evening, when the burning used to start.
3
Weeks three to six
Where the others went flat
This is when standard foam gives out under a heavier body. Press your thumb into the heel. It springs back.
4
Months later
Still holding
Months of daily wear, and the pair you're standing on still does its job.

Questions answered

Before you order

Does it help neuropathy?
It won't repair nerves. Nothing we know of can. What it changes is what your feet land on all day: a firm, load-rated foundation that spreads your weight across the whole sole instead of three sore points. That's why people with neuropathy and diabetes order it, and many feel the end of the day get easier within the first week. Keep doing what your doctor told you.
Isn't firm bad for a foot that can't feel?
Firm is not hard. The top layer is high-density foam; the firmness is in the rigid shell underneath that keeps the foam from collapsing. The point is that your weight is spread across the whole sole instead of concentrated on three points. If it doesn't feel right for you, send it back within 120 days.
I can't feel whether an insole fits. How do I check?
Use your eyes and hands, not your feet. Pull out the insole that came with the shoe, lay The Foundation on top of it and trim to the same outline. Check that it sits flat and that the heel cup is at the back of the shoe. A size guide comes with your order. Then check your feet daily, the way your doctor told you to.
Is this a medical device?
No. It is an insole. It is not prescribed and it does not replace therapeutic footwear or inserts your doctor ordered for you.
Which size do I pick?
Pick your shoe size from the five ranges in the offer above. If you're between two, take the larger one and trim it. The size guide next to the sizes shows every range.
Will they fit my shoes?
The Foundation is trim-to-fit and works in work boots, sneakers, casual shoes, and most dress shoes. Remove the existing insole first, then trim if needed.
Do they need breaking in?
They feel firmer than foam on the first day, because the shell underneath doesn't give. Most people wear them from the first morning. If yours feel firm, wear them for a few hours at a time for the first couple of days.
How long do they last?
They're built for months of daily wear at 200–350 lbs. If a pair flattens out on you within 120 days, you get your money back.
When will they arrive?
Free shipping on every order. Ships in 4–7 business days.
What if they don't work for me?
120-day full refund. If your feet still hurt, or a pair flattens out on you within 120 days, contact us for a complete refund. You have nothing to lose except the pain.

Your feet have waited long enough.

Engineered for 200–350 lbs. 120 days to find out — full refund if it doesn't hold up.
